MY FIFTH ENGINE

This engine was my fifth engine and the first V8 I built. It came with a number of challenges but was quite satisfying to build

This video is of the first pop run and was rather exciting to hear after the immense amount of work put into the build.

Once all the bugs were ironed out and the engine had had a bit of run time it was possible to hand start it, a VERY satisfying moment. Unbeknownst to us at the time the fuel tank was running low which is why it stopped and was a bit of an effort to restart.

Post anodizing

At the last test run this engine was turning the 12x6 prop fitted at 10,000RPM.

Not to shoddy for a concept design engine.
